For today’s look there are two things to say.
First: layers. Second: baby friendly yet stylish clothes.
Oversized Layers – well, well, well... very trendy right now
even though most men (also my man) do NOT really get this trend where the shape
of the shape of the body (we work so hard on) disappears in a thousands of
layers and layers. Well fashion is not always on the male side, sorry guys. Smilla
is wearing her new Trench Coat which clearly has to wait another few weeks in
her closet until she walks to be worn since for now she basically scratches it
off with her knees on the floor.
The other thing about this look is – it is absolutely do-able
with a baby. Flat comfortable yet good looking shoes to run around with the
little one (or maybe I should rather say after the little one) all day. And
then there is something I can recommend to all of you, mummies and daddies,
people with children around them a lot. They eat. Anything. And they do it with
pure pleasure using all their senses. Which grown ups apparently lost during
their way of being grown up. Meaning: You won’t be in clean clothes longer than
13 minutes in average.
In the beginning I changed about 7 times a day since Smilla
did her very best to cover me with whatever she ate the moment she began eating.
But I reached the point where my white blouses are never completely white (and
where I also don’t exactly care about it t.h.a.t much anymore). Honestly, you
can read Smilla’s entire Menu Card on my Shirt. That’s the reason why I can
highly recommend black Shirts (most of the food is simply invisble on them, except
for white stuff of course). In that case I can recommennd white shirts – big
advantage of those: cook them and erase the delicious menu card from your clothes
and create space for new tasteful sins (on them).
