Most women are like that when they are a) engaged, b) pregnant or c) both of that at the same time.
I tend to be oh so very sentimental lately and I happen to be neither of those things.
What I happen to have though is the honor of being a mom.
A mom to those two wonderful girls I can call my babies.
With hubby being so busy at work a little bit too often for our taste and me going back to work at the yoga studio just 6 weeks after Pernille was born we struggle every once in a while to find that golden property we call 'time'.
Watching other people I get the feeling that a lot of us are stuck in their habits, go to work, come back, eat, go to the gym, watch tv, sleep, repeat.
We live for the weekends to come, for the next holiday and realize with every day we are not just getting older, it seems as if life just races like a hurricane. Where did those last ten years go? When did we get that old?
Sometimes on those days when we are actually home together, the 4 of us I always feel the urgent need to do something. To make memories. To not just stay at home and do whatsoever we do.
I realize I don't want to be one of those people that watch their life passing by. I want to live every second of it to the fullest.
Even though we are crazy busy with our business and work in general, we have to focus a little more on what really matters in life. Most people just start thinking that way when they get sick.
Why is that? Why don't we open our eyes and actually appreciate that life we can call our own?
With the people that are in it and that make our life worth living?
I call those moments when we truly feel we are at the right place at the right time with just the right people golden moments.
And you know who is able to give me countless of those moments filled with gold?
Right. My girls. This is to you Smilla and Pernille.
Okay, and you too Hubby.
And beloved Sis.
