Yeah, I don't happen to be Blair Waldorf [a little glad about that - if it comes to all that meanness, a little sad about it too - if it comes to all that fancy lifestyle].
There are two things Queen B and me happen to have in common though. One of them since about 6 years [dating a dark haired guy, yeah mine doesn't really emphasize being Chuck Bass as soon as he enters the room but still] and the slight addiction to an Alice Band. Yes, I did develop that addiction long before Gossip Girl and a Blair Waldorf mixed up our lives outside the upper east side. My addiction was born when I was 7 years old and that treasury of Alice Bands I used to have back then [at least one Alice Band suitable to each dress I owned, or maybe I should say to each pair of rain boots I owned , since it actually took some time for me to develop my taste for dresses, too]. Today it's clear: what used to be the treasury of Alice Bands is now my treasury of bags. Old Ones. New Ones. And the ones I love most clearly are the ones I inherited from my very fashionable grandma.
In any case I have to admit that I love to add a little Blair Waldorf to my Outfits lately and happen to have a hard time not to put that Alice Band on each and every single day.
What else might be a little Blair Waldorf-ish about my look today? Yeah, I know you Gossip Girl Addicts sense it immediately. I actually happen to be almost 7 months pregnant and just wanted to tell you that I love emphasizing that belly and would choose a tight dress above anything at the moment. In case you have a day where you want to be THAT girl with that alice band and not THAT moving bump - you should go for my look today and surprise all the Chuck Basses out there with what's really underneath that Shirt. #bumschakalaka
